Falanx Group have established themselves in the cyber security space, providing proactive cyber defence, intelligence and technology which is scalable and affordable for any business. By providing hardware and consultancy services to businesses, Falanx aim to keep firms compliant with current regulation and ensuring downtime when a firm is attacked is kept to a minimum.
Rainbow Rare Earths
Rainbow Rare Earth is focused on generating significant value from the extraction of high grade rare earth minerals from its Gakara project located in Burundi. Management believe that Gakara is one of the richest rare earth deposits in the World and recent trade war activity between the US and China has seen the share price more than double from its low in May of this year.
Union Jack
Union Jack Oil recently raised £2.25m by way of an oversubscribed fundraising following the success of the drilling of West Newton. In June, the company announced that they had found a net 65 metre accumulation of hydrocarbons and an extended well test is planned for Q3 2019. The share price has rallied off of its all time low on the back of positive news flow and is now approaching its 2 year high.
PO Valley
Po Valley has announced its intention to dual list on the AIM, giving investors exposure to the operator of the exciting Selva field, located in Northern Italy. The company’s portfolio consists of further exploration plays and the Teodorico field, a large offshore asset which is located next to existing infrastructure and major gas developments.
Avacta
Avacta aims to shape the future of medicine by developing safe drugs based on its patented Affirmer platform, an engineered alternative to antibodies. The company announced late last year that they had agreed a development partnership and licensing agreement with LG Chem Life Sciences, part of the South Korean conglomerate, LG. The deal will see Avacta earn milestone payments totalling $180m.
